With a newly announced February 2017 debut, more and more footage from FX’s upcoming X-Men spinoff series “Legion” is being revealed. The series, which focuses on the incredibly powerful and possibly deranged mutant David Haller (Dan Stevens), comes from “Fargo” executive producer Noah Hawley and features incredibly striking visuals and a wild tone unlike any we’ve seen in Fox’s X-universe so far. Just like David Haller, pinning down this series with any conventional adjectives is a difficult task.
These two new promos show off more of the series’ offbeat tone, with one focusing on Haller’s struggle to control his reality warping abilities and another hailing him as quite possibly the most powerful mutant of all time.
Starring Dan Stevens, Katie Aselton, Jeremie Harris, Bill Irwin, Rachel Keller and Amber Midthunder, season one of “Legion,” will consist of eight episodes and debuts in February 2017 on FX.
