The star power of the LEGO Cinematic Universe grows larger today with the reveal of the voice actors for The LEGO Ninjago Movie this morning. This world-building, evolutionary franchise has been pretty interesting – the first LEGO Movie was in a universe a la Toy Story, albeit less aware toys in that one, and there’s no word on how Ninjago and LEGO Batman will all incorporate that type of setting. Perhaps they will all be standalone stories. Hopefully they will be able to build on the universe while still maintaining a distinct tone for each individual installment. Regardless, if The LEGO Ninjago Movie is as full of life and peppiness as The LEGO Movie was, audiences will be in for a real treat.
