Scrubs fans can rejoice. Zach Braff is coming back to television, but this time in the world of podcasts, not medicine. Get a glimpse of the new show Alex, Inc. coming to ABC!
Real-life Alex Blumberg risked it all to launch his start-up, Gimlet Media, and now his podcast “StartUp” has formed the basis for the new ABC television series. Created and written by Matt Tarses (Scrubs), Alex, Inc. will follow the journey of talented radio journalist Alex Schuman, a husband and father of two, who risks everything by leaving his stable job to start his own company. The endeavor won’t be smooth sailing, however.

The family comedy does not only star Braff in its 30-minute long episodes. He is wearing several Hollywood hats in the project, also serving as director and executive producer (along with Tarses, John Davis, John Fox, Alex Blumberg, Chris Giliberti, and Matt Lieber).
Braff is joined by Tiya Sircar (as Alex’s wife), Hillary Anne Mathews (as radio producer Deirdre), Michael Imperioli (as Eddie), Elisha Henig (as Ben), and Audyssie James (as Soraya).
Does Alex, Inc. look like a hit for ABC, or will you just head back in time for a Scrubs binge watching session instead?
