Getting a Glimpse: Ghosted

By: Jaclyn Cascio (@jaclynator)

Coming to Fox this fall on Sunday nights at 8:30pm is the comedic X-Files sitcom you probably didn’t even know you were waiting for! Ghosted is coming, so get a glimpse of the supernatural laugh fest here!

Ghosted will bring together a skeptic and a true believer of the paranormal in a buddy comedy to end all buddy comedies on television. Recruited by The Bureau Underground, the two unlikely players are put to the test investigating “unexplained” happenings in the LA area that all appear to be tied to some mysterious entity that just might threaten the human race. But just whose hands has the fate of the planet been put in, and how crazy are things going to get?

Created and executively produced by Tom Gormican (That Awkward Moment), along with other executive producers Craig Robinson (The Office), Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation), Naomi Scott, Mark Schulman, Oly Obst, Kevin Etten, and Jonathan Krisel, the pilot for Ghosted was picked up by Fox back in August of 2016 (the fourth pilot picked up by Fox for the new 2017-2018 season). It was ordered to series in May of this year, and it’s not hard to see why the single-camera series was picked up!

There’s no Mulder or Scully to be seen (although cameos would be spectacular), but Ghosted includes Adam Scott as Max Alison, believer in the supernatural, and his hilarious counterpart, skeptic Leroy Wright (played by Craig Robinson). They are joined by Edi Patterson as Delilah, Ally Walker as Captain Lafrey, and Adeel Akhtar as Barry.

What do you think of Ghosted? Does it look like a hit or is it a Supernatural wannabe?
