Jenna Fischer (The Office) makes a triumphant return to television in Splitting Up Together as Lena, an organized and prepared wife and mother. When things just don’t seem to work with laid-back husband, Martin (Scream Queens’ Oliver Hudson), the two decide to divorce. However, to the shock of their friends, Arthur (Bobby Lee) and Camille (Lindsay Price) and family, like Lena’s sister Maya (Diane Farras), the separated couple decide to keep living in the same house.

In an unconventional situation, Lena and Martin plan to take shifts caring for the house and kids, Mae (Olivia Keville), Mason (Van Crosby), and Milo (Sander Thomas). The parent on duty is designated the responsibilities of child care and home responsibilities, while the off-duty parent has freedom to do as they please. Lena is sure that Martin won’t be able to handle the job on his own, but is surprised by his ability to stay afloat in the chaos. She learns a bit about flexibility, while Martin learns about the effort Lena has put forth in the home. Splitting up just might be the spark to reignite the fire in their marriage, if they can figure out how to make things work!
