There’s a new app that makes it easier for shy students to find someone to sit with in the cafeteria.
Sit With Us is a new app specialized for the individual who has difficulties finding a place to sit in the cafeteria. It promotes kindness and inclusion in schools. The app has an “Ambassador” feature which allows users to post open lunch events at the school where anyone can go. The app was designed by a 16-year-old girl who was a victim of bullying, who ate lunch by herself everyday. To solve this, she created this app so that no child would have to go through what she did. Sit With Us promotes positivity and love, and fosters new friendships.
