According to Variety. Malkovich has joined the cast, and will star with Clancy Brown, Mike Epps, Maggie Grace, and CariDee English. Supercon is directed by Zak Knutson, who co-wrote the script with Andrew Sipes. It will be released sometime in 2017. There is no trailer available yet, but the synopsis below alone convinces me this will be worth seeing. As an avid convention goer, sign me up for Supercon!
A rag-tag group of former TV stars and comic book artists, who make their living working at conventions, decide to steal the loot from a crooked promoter and an overbearing former TV icon.
