DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. have released what they call Wonder Woman’s final trailer and this has to be the best one yet.
“Be careful of mankind, Diana. They do not deserve you.” Hippolyta is one hundred percent correct if this trailer is any indication of what we’ll be seeing on the big screen come June. We do not deserve Wonder Woman, but damn it, we definitely need her.
We need this kind of hero. We need a hero who leaves her peaceful home, her sisters, her mother, her paradise, with the knowledge that she may never return again, because a world full of people she doesn’t know is in grave danger. This line though: “Who will I be if I stay?” (dog whistle-pitch scream)
Fans and comic book readers are commenting positively on the fact that none of the trailers revealed the god of war Ares in the trailer, which means we get the big baddie reveal on the big screen! (Smart work, DC!) Folks complained about seeing Doomsday in the Batman v Superman trailer. So I guess at least fans are being consistent. (Leave it to nerds to be trailer watchdogs, am I right?)
Also wasn’t expecting Imagine Dragons to make an appearance in a Wonder Woman trailer, but there they are with their song “Warriors” in the background. It’s pretty epic while we watch Princess Diana climb up a wall making her own hand and foot holds (‘cause that’s how bad ass bitches climb).
Less than one month until we see this movie on the big screen, y’all!
ARE YOU HYPED YET? I AM. CAN YOU TELL?
Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Lucy Davis, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, and David Thewlis and is directed by Patty Jenkins. It hits theaters June 2, 2017.
