If there’s anyone you had to be stuck with on a spaceship, Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence would probably be pretty fun companions. But all is not fun in their new film Passengers. The two of them, along with 5,000 other passengers, are en route to a new colony when they’re awakened out of their sleep chambers 90 years too early. Mayhem ensues as their ship suffers what could be a disastrous malfunction. They must trust each other, but are there still secrets between them?
Rounding out the cast are Laurence Fishburne and Michael Sheen, the latter of which can be seen in the trailer as a robotic bartender. There are still many secrets surrounding the plot, but here’s something that can be revealed: a first look at the trailer below along with some new stills from the film.
Passengers opens December 21, 2016.
