Some congratulations are in order– The Nerd Machine, Advanced Micro Devices, and Petrol Advertising have been nominated for two 2016 Game Marketing Awards for their collaboration at Nerd HQ 2015!
The nominations are in the “Thinking Outside of the Box” and “Best Promotional Live Stream For A Game” categories within the awards, and they both recognize the “Star Wars: Battlefront” experience at last year’s Nerd HQ that came about thanks to the partnership of AMD (whose equipment powers both the PCs and PS4), Petrol (Nerd HQ’s promotional and management company), and, of course, The Nerd Machine.
“We are thrilled to be nominated with our agency Petrol and partner AMD,” said David Coleman, co-founder of The Nerd Machine. “We are proud to have created Nerd HQ and are excited that it is being recognized as an ‘outside the box’ concept to reach consumers in an authentic and impactful way.”
The awards, held by PromaxBDA (an association that designates awards to companies that excel in marketing and design), will be announced May 24th, 2016. You can go here to see the full list of nominees.
Congratulations, The Nerd Machine! We’re rooting for you, and we can’t wait to see what new experiences are in store for this year’s Nerd HQ!
